Motion establishing an order of priority for broadcasting meetings of government bodies on City Channel 25.
Analysis
This motion establishes an order of priority for the televising of meetings of government bodies by City Channel 25.  The most significant change to the broadcast hierarchy, which had previously been established by memorandum, is the higher position assigned to the regular meetings of the Board of Fire and Police Commissioners.

Whereas, In an increasingly digital age, televising government meetings is an important means of informing citizens about their government; and
 
Whereas, Since the creation of City Channel 25, this channel has been dedicated to making City of Milwaukee government as transparent as possible to the community; and
 
Whereas, In the interest of good management and government, the order of priority for televising meetings of government bodies should be continually re-evaluated; and
 
Whereas, Recent events have made urgent the need to increase the transparency of the operations of the Board of Fire and Police Commissioners; now, therefore
 
It Is Moved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the attached order of priority for the televising of meetings of government bodies by City Channel 25 is approved.
